We are recruiting dance Ambassadors for 2022!
Mark Steelman Photography Ambassadors are talented dancers who wish to capture their artistry in creative photo sessions. They are passionate about sharing their love of dance with their community and on social media!

We are looking for current dance students who:
Are students in the Wilmington area
Will be between 14-18 years old as of January 1st, 2022
Have creative ideas
Are passionate about dance and fashion
Enjoy creative photo sessions
Want to share their love of dance with others
Are proficient with social media
Are ready to inspire and influence other dancers
What do Ambassadors do?
Bring their passion, skills and creative ideas to ambassador photoshoots
Participate in multiple themed photoshoots, both on-location and in the studio
Promote Mark Steelman Photography to their fellow dancers and friends
Promote their dance school in a professional manner
What do Ambassadors receive?
A free 3-hour, creative portrait session with Mark and a complimentary 11 x 14 print! (value $790)
Posing guidance and coaching from experienced instructors and professional dancers
Branded images from Ambassador photoshoots to share with friends and family on social media
Themed photoshoots, which will include a variety of costumes, props, and backdrops
A one-time, $295 credit towards a la carte artwork purchase
A personal mobile phone app to share your images easily with family and friends
Images to build an exciting portfolio or audition package
Information and education in social media skills and personal safety
What does it cost?
The participation fee is $295
(This helps with dance instructors, costume rentals, location fees and permits, etc.)
About Mark Steelman
Mark is an experienced portrait artist who specializes in dance photography, and has worked with professional and student dancers of all ages, skill levels, and dance styles.
His goal is to create incredible images that showcase your dancer's beauty and passion in this wonderful art form.
He is the official photographer for the US International Ballet and Thalian Association Community Theatre.
His studio is located at 5552 Carolina Beach Blvd, Suite A, in Wilmington, NC
